2022-09-27 – Vasil Hard Fork Combinator is Complete

Finally, it’s here! On September 22, the hard fork combinator was triggered. Full Vasil functionality, which includes support for reference inputs, inline datums, reference scripts, collateral outputs, and a new Plutus cost model that became available to developers today.

We’ve had the privilege of running SOCAL for a year now and loved every minute of it. To celebrate, Ouroboros was gracious enough to make us a slot leader in the upcoming epoch.

2022-07-28 – Vasil Hard Fork Combinator Delay

In Cardano’s 360 event this morning, we learned that the Vasil Hard Fork will be delayed a couple of weeks due to some bugs that are still being worked on. We don’t mind waiting as this is the most complex upgrade that they have ever done. A lot is riding on Vasil and it needs to be done right.
